George held the role of Marketing Director at Soho House for many years, beginning her career there in 1997. At Soho House, George oversaw all marketing activity including brand partnerships, members' communication, events, and PR, as well as being the sole marketing force behind many new openings including Babington House, The Electric, Soho House New York, High Road House and several restaurant outlets. In addition to her marketing remit, George launched cult skincare brand, Cowshed, and was responsible for product development, distribution, spa operations and strategic partnerships.
After her 10 + years at Soho House, George took up consultancy, which includes her current role as Festival Director for House Festival, an annual festival for Soho House members held in West London. As Festival Director, George oversees all aspects of the event including operations, production, ticketing, communication, brand partnerships and activation. Separate to this, George also launched British skincare brand, Green & Spring, overseeing all product development and distribution. George currently works with James on a range of consultancy projects.
Beginning his marketing career in Canada as a graphic designer and copywriter in the travel industry, James' love of travel, culture and design eventually brought him to London, where he soon became Marketing Manager for the Soho House Group. At Soho House, James was part of the opening team behind Shoreditch House, Pizza East, Cecconi's West Hollywood, as well as launching the first iteration of their members-only social media platform, then known as 'Virtual House'.
After several years, James left the Soho House Group to join A Curious Group of Hotels as Marketing Director, where he oversaw the opening strategy for Canal House in Amsterdam and The Portobello Hotel in London. In addition to new openings, James was solely responsible for A Curious Group of Hotels marketing strategy, including all digital platforms, partnerships, PR and branding, across their four hotels and skincare brand, Green & Spring. James currently consults alongside George on a number of projects.
